GAME DAY VOLUNTEER INFO

ARRIVAL TIME AND LOCATION


Please check BoosterHub for your particular slot's arrival time, as they can vary.


  • Dinner Service - Meet in the cafeteria and check in with the Hospitality Chair.
  • Chaperones - You will receive a group text on Thursday or Friday with instructions.
  • Uniforms - Meet in the Uniform Closet (at end of hallway that is opposite the band room doors) and check in with the Uniform Chair.
  • Concessions - Check in at the stadium home side gates and proceed to home concession stand to receive a volunteer lanyard/badge. Once you have your badge, move to your assigned station. Not sure where to go? Check in at the home side concessions stand with the Concessions Chair.
  • Pit Crew - Meet on the patio outside the Band Room (unless different location is given). Check in with the Pit Crew Chair.


GAME DAY PARKING


Everyone must be parked in a parking spot in the parking lots. No one is permitted to park in or along the visitor side "driveway", on the grass along the curb, along a red fire zone, or in the bus loop.


 If you are parking near the band room, please use the new parking spaces along the track field side, or along the side of the school. 


BEHAVIOR


When volunteering on behalf of the band, we are all representing both the band and NPHS. All volunteers must follow district and school rules and guidelines while on our campus and our host school's campus.

No negative comments toward either team, or any other behavior that is unbecoming. We set the example for the students and want to represent NPHS and the Wolfpack Pride in the best light.


AFTER THE GAME 

Please do not leave at the end of the night until your committee chair or lead dismisses the team. There is a lot to do *after* the shift/game is over:


  • Dinner Service - clean up the cafeteria, move tables back where they belong, put trash in dumpsters, put away supplies.
  • Chaperones - support students as they return to the school building, put away bus bags (after away games),. Assist with uniforms if needed. Check in with Chaperone chair before leaving.
  • Uniforms - put away plumes, unload racks from Fashion Wagon (away games), check each member's bag for proper hang, supervise uniform return, check in all hat boxes.
  • Concessions - close the stand per checklist provided. Pack up trailer with all equipment. Clean areas. Check in with a Concessions chair for any remaining tasks before leaving.
  • Pit Crew - Move all equipment/props back to storage (home games).Unload all instruments, equipment, and props from trailers and move to storage where applicable (away games).
